Globalization, as a transformative process, has profoundly influenced various aspects of human life, leaving significant impacts on the domains of criminal law and human rights. This study examines the effects of globalization on these fields. The globalization of criminal law has led to the establishment of international cooperation mechanisms, harmonization of national legal systems, and enhanced interactions among states to combat transnational crimes such as terrorism, human trafficking, and cybercrimes. However, this process has also brought challenges, including conflicts with national sovereignty and cultural differences. In the realm of human rights, globalization has strengthened universal principles and reduced the absolute authority of national sovereignty. The role of international institutions and human rights instruments in creating shared and binding standards highlights the importance of this field in global governance. Nonetheless, obstacles such as cultural relativism and resistance from certain states in adopting these principles remain. This study demonstrates that the globalization of criminal law and human rights, while offering opportunities for achieving global justice and security, requires a balance between global requirements and local values. The research emphasizes the importance of enhancing international cooperation, respecting cultural diversity, and reinforcing supervisory institutions. It provides practical approaches to fostering a more just and humane global society.
