In Islam, political participation is considered one of the characteristics of an advanced Islamic society. Its indicators can be shown in the model of Islamic progress in the areas of vision, structure, and behavior. In the field of vision, religion has an instrumental view of power and government is considered a divine trust. Obedience to the ruler and participation in political affairs are also viewed as a religious duty. The structure of the Islamic political system is organized in a participatory manner, and institutions such as; allegiance, consultation, and jihad are considered to organize political affairs. In the field of behavior, citizens of the Islamic society, while having the necessary insight, pledge allegiance to the legitimate ruler and obey him. In this society, the people and the government strive to protect the righteous government with goodwill and unity. In the model of the political system of the Islamic Republic, it should be possible to further examine the position of political jurisprudence; because it is the locus of emerging issues and events, and jurisprudential inferences regarding political action can determine the duties of a Muslim individual in political life. On the one hand, this requires an explanation of the characteristics of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress.
